A19, A Highway back in time

The construction of the A19 highway in the center of France gave birth to an extraordinary archaeological adventure: 200 archaeologists have worked on this 101-kilometer-long site in the Loiret region, from Artenay to Courtenay, one of the richest regions in French History. Their discoveries tell the great adventure of men and women whod lived here from the Neolithic until the XVth century at the end of the Hundred Years War.
